Teach Sonas Cottage is a traditional farm cottage on tranquil private land, giving you the chance to escape from the pressures of modern day life and relax in privacy. The holiday cottage is situated within 20 mins drive from Kilkee and offers wide views across the Shannon Estuary to Dingle Peninsula. Surrounded by the River Shannon to the South side, and by the Atlantic Ocean to the North, nature has created the most majestic scenery on the Loophead peninsula. The rugged beauty of the area has remained unspoilt into the twenty-first century - so much so that the area can boast of having the purest air in Europe offering many exciting outdoor activities.

The traditional farmhouse has recently been renovated including new bathrooms, a modern kitchen and central heating - but maintains the old-time-touch by keeping the traditional country furniture, wooden ceilings and floorings in many rooms. [more...]
The 4 bedrooms accommodate up to 8 people. One bedroom is ensuite with shower/WC, the family bathroom also features a bath tub.

With the West Clare area on your doorstep you will also have the chance to visit famous tourist spots in the region such as Loop Head Lighthouse, the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands as well as the town of Ennis, Bunratty and Knappogue Castles.
The sights of County Kerry are within easy reach by using the Shannon Ferry from Killimer.
